Apologies for the late postings - we've been getting ready for our big move to Virginia. Here are a few videos - one at our "old" house, two at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival (a 10-yr anniversary present for Mommy and Daddy), and then three in the backyard of our temporary home for our last few days in Salt Lake.

Some walking practice - on Tuesday April 13, he decided that he was no longer a crawler. Now he only goes onto all fours for emergencies, like when the dog water bowl is on the floor, or the door to the bathroom is left open. Otherwise, he wants to walk.







And a big moment: he can now put the letters into the toy mail slot. (His career possibilities just increased ten-fold)

Emmett's first shot at walking

Here are three videos of our newly-mobile kid. He's being urged on with a pumpkin-chocolate-chip cookie, and cheered on by Zac and Jen, two friends visiting from California. He's been standing unsupported for a couple of weeks, but this was the first time he started moving.
